Pardon People Not Poultry

Last Prisoner Project is dedicated to freeing individuals unjustly imprisoned for cannabis-related offenses.

Seeing the end of President Biden’s term as a key moment for change, we highlighted the urgent need for mass pardons and clemency for non-violent cannabis offenders. American Thanksgiving became the perfect moment to make a statement—while the President ceremonially pardons a turkey, thousands of deserving people remain behind bars.

To drive action, we created PeopleNotPoultry.com, an interactive website showcasing hundreds of non-violent cannabis prisoners. Visitors could explore individual bios, select a name, and send a letter urging the President to grant a pardon or clemency—turning awareness into tangible action.

As the social media lead for the campaign, I developed and executed the content strategy across social and digital OOH channels. I collaborated with external partners and PR teams to drive awareness and engagement, while leading the coordination and creative direction of our social production partners to bring the campaign to life across platforms.
